Good Afternoon, In the Pine Classroom we have been learning about the 5 senses. Afternoon teaching children about their new keyword, Explore, I took the children on nature walk and allowed them to take the magnifying glasses. We discussed what a magnifying glass is used for and the correct way to use one. They explored all over the playground where they observe insects, flowers and other plants. The children thought it was so amazing how much bigger things appeared when using a magnifying glass. I incorperated Vicki Cobb's "I see myself", since we were focusing on the sense of sight
