Today two of our older children Khassidi and Jay'liah used a large poster board for painting. We use dot to dot colorful paint. They both enjoyed the sound of stamping the board with the stick like roller. However, draging the roller across the board gave them another option. They were very excited about the different colors. The painting turned out very colorful. You may view this beautiful art work by Khassidi and Jay'liah.

Good Evening All
Today in the infant room we tried an experiment with the older infants. I place a drop of yellow paint on a piece of paper and a drop of green paint also on the paper. We showed the paper to the children one at a time, each child touch the green paint before the yellow. The darker paint was easy to see more so than yellow paint.
Good Evening Lanza Family

I was impress on Tuesday night by what we can do with a cup and a string. The experiment was exciting, I was eager for the children in our class, Bonsai 1 to experience this project. Ms. Rachel brought in two different types of cups and string. The next day, getting the cups and strings togeather while the children were asleep was a project.

We tried the experiment with both types. As we learned during the class Tuesday night, a very fine string will carry a clearer sound. The children were actually able to understand directions by (Cup Type), my pet name for this device. However we tried a drifferent string (yarn) and the sound did not go over to well. The children had a blast with this project and so did the teachers.

In our class, we had a chance to dive into some water fun at the water table.. The children got a chance see how some objects float, and some sink. The children were extremely fascinated with the idea of seeing some objects stay a top of water.
