check out with my friends,
Last Thursday, i took some of my children, 2 and a half years old, to the science area and i asked them to choose two different balls from the basket. London cave me a soccer ball and Thomas gave me a small bouncy ball. i told them to be careful and watch what i did. I dropped the balls at the same distance, at the same time. The students bent down and stood a safe distance and watched wich would hit the floor first. the i asked them what happened, what sound did they made and which hit the ground first. Goerge said big ball, Rony siad bouncing again and again, they enjoyed it and after this experiment was repeated they said they wanted to do it again.

The children in late toddler room enjoy the experiment about dropping the balls. After Ms. Jamison held the two balls different sizes and dropped them she asked the kids “Where did the balls go?”. All of them said down. Then she asked, “do you know why?”, then London said “gravity.” Our kids enjoy the experiment every morning and they have a lot of fun with it.
Thank you very much Mrs. Vicki for your help.

I wish you had a nice day, I would like to share with you the many wonders of teaching the kids about sound waves. We can improve our hearing immensely with “super ears.”
I asked the kids how we can make our ears super, the put their hands around their ears like cups, and then I took two paper cups and cut out the holes in the bottom hook their hands behind their ears. Then I asked Brandon to put one cup over each ear, with my help and I ask the kids to talk to him, then he said “OH it’s so loud.” Then I told the kids to try this experiment out for themselves. I told them the super ears collect more sound and they were all excited and enjoyed it. I was surprised and happy they figured it out with my guidance. Then I asked them which animals have big ears, they started to name animals such as dog, bat, and tigers. It was a very good thing that the kids enjoyed.
April 25, 2012 I want to share with you this experiment that I did with the kids to prove it. After the breakfast when the kids still sitting on the table, we started the hearing aid experiment, I place a watch at one end and I put my ear tightly on the other end and I asked the kids to copy me and we listened, then I asked the kids if they heard anything. Tomas said, “I hear a tick, tick, tick.” Then London said,” The Time I hear the Time!!”and Makai said,” it’s a watch Ms. Ghada!!” when you look to the kids face you can see the excitement and happiness in the same time, they loved it. Then they tried to make sounds in different ways, they tapped on the table and tried all kinds of things. Then I explained to them that sound waves travel through wood more directly to our ear than through air, so we can hear the watch ticking through the wood when we can’t hear it in air. My kids enjoyed the experiment and exploring the sound. I want to make more experiments with them.

I took some water and dropped a few drops on the table and gave them them paper towels and asked them what would happen if you covered it with the paper towel and Emily said," The paper towel take the water," and we tried it again, but this time with wax paper. the kids wondered what happened and Yeymalee," The wax paper didn't take it." We enjoyed the experiment very much and we tried many other things with the water.
